Wario Ware Touched. I like the large selection of microgames.

Daigasso! Band Brothers, a Japanese import that is slated for a North American release under the title Jam With the Band.

*edit* I didn't notice the "Why" part in the thread title, so here goes:

I like this game because it's a fun, but challenging music game. The drum sections in particular are quite difficult. I like the look of the game -- whoever complained about the Big N's kiddie image gotta see the game's mascot, Barbara the Bat...

Oh, and the game comes with a nifty music editor. :D

Feel the Magic. One of the few games to actually use the system as it should be. WarioWare does it, just not with the flair or style of Magic.

Asphalt Urban GT is under rated too.

I like Mario 64 DS, Wario ware, and Yoshi Touch, and while I enjoy these games the most of all the games out so far, I like the pictochat with friends the MOST. There is just something so fun about drawing pics, sending them to your buddy only to have him improve them, or alter them to some sick and demented new picture. :D

of the 3 games (1 the demo that everyone has) that i own, i would have to say that Feel The Magic: XY / XX is the best .... it is a fun game that makes good use of the functionality of the DS, plus, the rabbit head things, the clothing, and the higher skill levels give it a lot of replayability

Feel the Magic - engaging, cute, innovative.

Throw me down for Zoo Keeper. I am not even that much of a puzzle game fan but for whatever reason I have not been able to put this one down for weeks.

*you should set this up as a poll*

Zoo Keeper is my favorite so far as well, i've got all of the games released so far (except Madden and Spiderman) and the ZK is the most fun imo with the Metroid Demo in sec, especially in multi mode!

Mario 64DS, Why? Lack of other options.

Unfortunately NONE

Mario 64 looks cool, but its the same that was released on N64...So i dont consider it a DS game more than it is a N64 game

Zoo keeper. Addicitive, fun, and it takes advantage of the DS' touch screen.

Hmm, that's a tough one. I'm a bit slut for music games and racing games, so I guess it's a tossup between Band Bros. and Asphalt.

Band Bros. ranges from pathetically easy to inhumanly hard, so there's enough to keep busy. Plus you can add your own songs with the editor.

Asphalt is WAY better than Ridge Racer, so if you're considering a racing game, don't bother with RR. The control, depth, physics, and collision modeling are all vastly superior in Asphalt.

Honorable mentions:
SM64
Metroid
Mr. Driller

heh i only have 2 games and the Metroid Demo

Super Mario 64 DS is superb, especially the mini games! Spot on, especially Wario's Mini Games

However im quite hooked on Pokemon Dash! Quite a nice little unique racer unlike any!

The DS to me is something New, Unique, original and spot on!

Suppafly, have you even played Mario64 DS? Its a good bit different. Plus there are minigames.

Feel the Magic XX/XY easily.

The artistic style is superb and the games are, on the whole, more engaging than in WarioWare.

Feel the Magic and Warioware are fun, but not worth owning. You can beat them in a combined 4 hours and the replay isn't that high. Better off borrowing them from someone than buying then. Currently the only game worth owning would be Mario64DS. Castlevania, Nintendogs, Nanostray, Animal Crossing, Advance Wars DS (why not DS Wars???), and Mario Kart will all drastically improve the chances for this sytem.

Yeah, it's a LOT different. There's tons more stuff to do, and the multiple characters makes it really interesting.

The game I like the best is WarioWare Touched. I haven't played Feel the Magic yet, but I'm sure I'd dig it for similar reasons.

WarioWare is cool for reasons other than just the use of the stylus, though. The whole presentation is pretty stylish (I particularly love Ashley's stage. That deadpan Goth-chick voice is priceless).

I still love Project Rub (or Feel The Magic XX-XY as it's called in the USA). No the game is not hard to finish but real fun too play, much better then Wario Ware in my opinion. Mario 64 DD wont be my choice as I never liked the N64 version anyway. I'm currently waiting for my Pac-pix, I heard good things a bout it so I hope I won't be disapointed. Oh and Polarium is also a great puzzle game.

unlike most of you i prefer WarioWare to Project Rub (Feel The Magic). I think its because the games are quicker and you never know what to expect combined with the sheer multitude of them and the brilliance/hilarity of some of them. Project Rub doesn't have as many and makes you play through each of them a lot whereas WarioWare has shorter more random games where you have to connect with the idea in 2 seconds flat. I only have these 2 games (and Sprung, which isn't very good) and have spent much more time on the 2 GBA games i bought for my DS so can't comment on which is the best game. I really want to get Polarium, have Electroplankton ordered and am eagerly awaiting Another Code and Meteos among others

I guess I'll go with Mario 64.

It's kinda my favourite by default though. Nothing else I've bought has even come close to wowing me (and that only just, since it's a rehash and not something brand new). The list of games available right now is kinda boring IMO.

Out of the 3 i own (Mario, Wario, XX/XY) my favorite is Mario. Why? Because its the only one that is not a tech demo. I like Wario, but its easier than the gba one. Feel the AMgic though, seriously its a friggin tech demo, i hate it.

I'm going to go with Super Mario 64 DS, but I like all of them about equally. Does anybody actually use the touchscreen and lanyard with this game?

Though the world may think I'm crazy I'm saying Yoshi Touch N' Go. I love the arcade style gameplay and the multiplayer is really addictive.

Mario 64, while it is a port, it is easily the best game available for the system because it is one of the best games ever created. Without mario my nomiation would go to yoshi for a simple and addictive arcader.
