How about that big Space Channel 5 2 boxset? The white one? I never see it for sale anywhere....

If the copy of Seaman that was packed in with the Seaman Xmas DC has any sort of different packaging, then that surely counts amount the rarest of the rare....

Isn't the Macross M3 LE version pretty rare now? I remember when it was $9 on ebay.....shoulda bought it.

Not super rare, NCS has it for $30.

BTW, I forgot to mention the single most expensive Dreamcast game is Fatal Fury MOTW, there's one on eBay new that got snatched up with BIN for $50 within one day, consider the current market condition, even used ones can go over $50

Even games like SF3: 3rd Strike would take some time to fetch bids like this, one seller took him a long time to sell it for $50.

Rarest titles I can think of:

De La Jet Set Radio (http://dynamic5.gamespy.com/~japangaming/game_information.php?system=dreamcast&base=delajetsetradio). While even the Dorikore version runs a good 4500 yen or so, the Limited Edition Box Set (http://dynamic5.gamespy.com/~japangaming/bonus_info.php?type=promo&b=delajetsetradiole) is almost cause for some heavy petting.

Border Down (http://dynamic5.gamespy.com/~japangaming/game_information.php?system=dreamcast&base=borderdownle) w/ the soundtrack from Sega Direct certainly ain't cheap.

Twinkle Star Sprites (http://dynamic5.gamespy.com/~japangaming/game_information.php?system=dreamcast&base=twinklestarsprites) demands some yen.

And I just sold a sealed one of these (http://dynamic5.gamespy.com/~japangaming/game_information.php?system=dreamcast&base=vampirechronicles) on Ebay for $56.

Finally, the Famitsu version of What's Shenmue (http://dynamic5.gamespy.com/~japangaming/bonus_info.php?type=promo&b=whatsshenmuefamitsu) gets rather costly, and rarely pops up.

Segagaga box set is another that should be added, but I don't have pictures yet. Same with Masapy no Choco Marker -- pricey, but not sure how good of a game it is.

The reason I opened up this thread, as time goes by and Dreamcast games disappearing from retail floors, the more realistic values of games start to come out and polarize, ie, sports and Acclaim (except Ferrari F355, Bust-A-Move 4, Re-Volt and Fur Fighters of course) games become worthless, even the 2K2 series, Capcom fighters and shooters become gems and much sought after, even though SF3: Thrid Strike's value goes down a little now because of SF Ann on PS2 and soon Xbox, but it should creep back up, this is evident on Marvel vs Capcom 2, now all version either new or like new command a lot of $$.

Disagree on 3rd strike. Whereas MvC2 was arcade perfect on the DC and not on the other two, 3rd strike is arcade perfect on the other two, and not on DC. Since most fighting game fans go for the most arcade experience, the DC one is no longer sought after.
