Well, i was thinking of the current list of DS games in Japan and which of those titles would not make it over here.

I was sure Meteos wasnt gonna leave Japan so i imported, and turns out i was wrong and should be out June-ish. So, this time i need the experties of my DP buddies.

I was thinking along the lines of:

Jam with the Band (launch title over there, no news yet i believe on a US or UK release)

Electroplankton (far too weird for our 'small little minds' according to most sources but, after the success its got so far, i dont see why not?)

Tennis no Ouji-Sama 2005 Crystal Drive (i dont believe any of the other games from this series have made it over here)

Probably a few of the surgical games & the mah-jong game too.

Thoughts anyone?

Joe. :)

Doesn't look like Konami is going to bring over Goemon any time soon. :(

I know there's a Naruto game that's out for DS that may not come here.

Jam with the Band (aka Daigasso Band Brothers, as it's known in Japan) is slated for a North American release. It's just that it's TBD, it's taking long because the song selection is more than likely to change (I doubt the whole batch of J-pop titles will remain...). This is more than mere localization (the actual localization probably doesn't take very long to do, since there isn't that much text in the game -- it's not an RPG!)...

I pray with my soul on Moses' dinner plate that Snowboard Kids comes over here.

What about Another Code? Still haven't heard on how good this is.

I bought Elektroplankton, but haven't really gotten into it. Just touched it (pun intended). Need to dig in a little deeper... starting with figuring out WTF to do.

Another Code has been given a European release date.
I don't know much about other games but I know that there has been hardly any English releases and in Japan there are a lot more games. I don't believe in Europe there is a single game available yet that hasn't been available from launch and in the US the situation isn't much better whereas Japan has many more games.

Here's hoping Nintendo get going with that release schedule because they do not want to fall behind the PSP and the DS could prove hugely popular as long as Nintendo show it is still alive with games supporting it. Looking at the European line-up, its only 1 or 2 games a month which is pitiful.

Does anyone happen to have a complete Japanese release list?

Don't want to fall behind?!?! The most games I've seen for a DS system in a store has been like 7-10 games (target) The most games I've seen since launch day of the PSP has been like 30 I think. Fall behind? hell, I think the PSP had more games available before it was even released than the ds has total.

And yes, I have a DS, and not a PSP ($40 game pricepoint too rich for my blood)

Devilish is another game I hope makes it over here. It has received low scores so I don't want to pay almost $50 to import it.
