I've been looking for either Genesis or Snes Warsong 2 (Langrisser 2) ... But I need the translation patch, and I havn't been able to find one.

I've found a few translation things but nothing I can get to work.

A few patchs for the SNES one make it unplayable, something about a bad checksum.

If anyone could link me to a place, etc. Or even send me the rom patch'd, I'd be very grateful.

I've been wanting to play this game forever, I absolutly loved Warsong 1 for Genesis.

I have a translated version of Der Langrisser, but it's a BAD translation. It's understandable for the most part though. Seems like someone used a computer translator though. PM me you e-mail addy and I'll e-mail it to you.

Sent you a PM, thank you. As long as it's playable I guess, at this point I'll do anything. :)

afaik this is the best snes translation of it (the 2nd one on that site) still not anywhere near perfect though

I tried using that one, but once I patch it, it will open the rom, do the intro ... but as soon as I hit start I get a crit error.

then you're patching the wrong rom, read the patchs readme

Here forget Der Langrisser and that horrid Langfandood translation. It was a joke patch, you're not actually ment to play the game using it. :P

Anyway use a Genesis version of Langrisser 2 and download this patch:

http://donut.parodius.com/?func=trans&platform=genesis&gamekey=64

It's not 100% complete, but it's legible. More then I can claim for Der Langrisser.

Heheh ... I've been using it. It works enough to play it. :)

Some parts are freaking hilarious cause I can kind of understand what they mean, but it's sooooo bad. Like "Yes" is "it is". I see that something translates to vis-a-vis a lot for some reason, heheh.
