DP car club for Forza?

So it seems Forza Motorsport lets you create "car clubs", which seem to work like clans or teams or whatever. You need at least 4 people in the club to post times on the records list. How about it? Anybody else up for a DP club?

I'm picking up this game tonight. I have no preconceived notions, so it won't be as huge a disappointment as Gran Turismo 4 was. LOL

This'll be the game that prompts me to get Live. The clan idea sounds like fun.

I'm going to have to change the controller set ups, its the gas and brake are is the places I'm used to shfit. Granted I jumped right into LIVE instead of trying it offline.

i wanna get this game, but i have a few questions: can you take your single player car and race it on xbl? and can you upgrade that same car with new parts and use it on xbl also?

Yes and yes. You can take your career mode car online, and it retains all upgrades and whatnot. The game assigns the cars different class rankings (D2, A4, S, etc.) based on upgrades, so you can do online career mode races which are limited to a specific class. It keeps the game very flexible, and still very competitive at the same time. I'm think you can also do online races with no class restrictions at all if you feel like pitting a Miata up against some GT monster.

Oh, and you even earn money when doing online career mode matches. You can win a TON of money doing that if it's a big group doing a decent length race. I think I pulled in like 24K for a first place last night.

Basically, the demo version really didn't do the game justice at all, and that seems to be the consensus over on the XBox forums, too. So we're all glad that we went ahead and got the game anyway despite the lackluster preview. Ha ha.

And SpaceFarmer: Will do. I'll probably be back at the game again within an hour or two. Heh. I CAN'T STOP PLAYING. AUGH.

Sweet, will do. I'll send the invite when I'm back at Forza, which shouldn't be more than a couple hours or so. Heh.

By the way, I'm using the Madcatz MC2 wheel right now, and it works a hell of a lot better than an analog stick, that's for sure. Not a bad setup for $60. The universal one (XBox/PS2/GC) doesn't have a slot for the communicator, though, so watch out for that one.
