I just got my first Genesis and have heard that it had some great games (Other than the Sonic series) and wanted to get some. I like all kinds, so I guess I want to know your favorites so I can read up on them and get some.
Ps. Sorry if this topic has been covered.

it has, prob close to 100 times, start with gunstar heroes and the shining force series

DP has a top favorites list everybody votes on for the system (and for many others, i.e. SNES and Colecovision), but maybe we don't have one for individual games...
I will say that my favorite game is the Japanese version of Contra The Hard Corps.

1. Feel free to add to that thread, it's an ongoing and permanent discussion!
2. Read the FAQ that was sent to you when you joined up. We have a Classic Discussions forum that has loads of topics like this, and it's a good idea to peruse that forum before anything else! At the very least, use the search feature to see if anything's been done before.
