Hey, what the heck is this series of games all about? Most of them look really cool! From what I can tell, they all have something to do with some kind of evil clown or something, so of course I wanna know more about them! If they have anything to do with a demonic circus or amusement park, I'm gonna have to see about getting some of these soon!

There are two Momotaro game series: Momotaro Densetsu and Momotaro Dentetsu. The Densetsu series is a bunch of RPGs based on mixed up Japanese folklore stories, and the Dentetsu series is a bunch of board-game like train games. There hasn't been a new game in the RPG series in a long time afaik, but the Dentetsu series gets a new installment almost every year (they're up to 12 now I think). The clown-looking guy is a villian from games, but I don't think he's actually a clown LOL

I believe he is actually a (the?) Goblin King.
My favorite Momotarou game is for the TG-16 called Momotarou Katsugeki. Awesome platformer, if a bit easy.

Is that one part of Hudson's Momotaro game series? I haven't heard of it before. I'll keep any eye out for it though, sounds kinda neat. :D

MOMOTARO DENTETSU!
Couple days ago a few friends and I played a 4 hour session of this... it's awesome! Just silly party game fun all around, although the fact that my friend Dan who was fluent in japanese was surely able to help us.
the 'evil clown' is actually the God of Poorness, otherwise called the "Bonbi". He can take many different forms, in the case of the 12th installment you can get "Mini-bonbi" who's not that bad, regular bonbi, "Hurricane" bonbi that destroys whatever shops you buy at train stations, or the worst: King Bonbi.
Other versions will have other different forms, as I've also heard of a "Black" bonbi that's similarly devilish.
I love this game.
