I am pretty good with most NES accessories.... one such that I just picked up is the power glove. I have the glove and the hookups for it with the three sensors they fit together and rest on the floor like a triangle and the gloive plugs into that unit. I have the game supergloveball and I amnot sure if I am using it correctly.
I have the game running and the powerglove plugged into the first joystick port. The middle sensor has these red lcd lights that light up , and the glove makes a slight humming sound when everything is on, but when I turn everything on the game starts without me hitting the start button the the glove on the screen moves forward into the wall and I really cannot control it.
I am trying to figure out if it is broken? or if I am just not hooking it u correctly?
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Dustin

The sensor sits on top of the TV with the cord sticking down from the bottom. Also you need to keep the glove in cventer position if you don't want the signal to register permaturely. Power Gloves can be cramp inducing as you have to hold the hand in the air for extended period of time.

I remember when I was a kid, my friends dad worked for Mattel and he got a Power Glove before they went on Sale in the US. It was the coolest thing for about a half an hour. LOL

Using the Power Glove is a sure fire way to get Popeye forearms. It should have come with a tripod to rest your arm on while you play. Anyway, I don't have any tips for using it correctly, because I've never bothered to actually fire mine up.

I wish Mattel would put the Power Glove instruction manual in PDF format on their site. The glove is really useless without it. After you connect the glove and it beeps, you have to enter a program number vai a series of keystrokes. There are 14 different programs, specific to certain games in some cases (Super Glove Ball, Punch Out, RC Pro-Am, etc), and some generic ones. The only program entry I remember off the top of my head is Program 14, which lets you use the joypad on the glove like a regular controller. After the glove beeps, hit PROG 1 4 ENTER ENTER.

LOL!
FYI folks, if you call Nintendo (1-800-255-3700) you can request a photocopy of the Instructions for the Power Glove, which has all the codes that came with it. So you can finally use your PG the way it was meant to be.
