I've played the Nintendo Puzzle Collection recently, and I wonder... why hasn't Nintendo released this in the states yet? I mean it has Dr. Mario, Panel de Pon, and Yoshi Cookie all in glorious multiplayer modes. Plus, you can upload them onto the GBA. I know puzzle games aren't as popular as the fighters or the shoot'em ups, but surely there is a market for it here. :/

I think it was a right decission from Nintendo not to release the Puzzle Collection in the west. The collection doesn't deliver enough games to get decent sales numbers. Sadly the market for puzzle-games is now limited to handhelds mainly. Maybe if Nintendo added a few other puzzle-games (Maybe Yoshi, Mario's Super Picross and the Kirby Puyo Puyo) it would be worth a release, but don't think that will happen.

Sad but true.

Bit late to this thread, but I'm tempted to pick this one up. Is is quite playable, in as much as are the menus quite easy to navigate?

It's a shame that there aren't more puzzle games coming out for the current generation of consoles. At least we've got the GBA, DS & PSP I suppose.

The menus are in japanese, but gamefaqs has a good translation, and in all honesty the options are all pretty clear when they bring up a little picture with em.

afaik this one is still scheduled for a late 2005 release in Europe, i have no idea why they would wait so long and then release it, but it's on some release lists
