I really am getting into the Yu-Gi-Oh toons on TV. I would like to pick up a good Yu-Gi-Oh game, either for the Gamecube or the DS. So far all the reviews on the different games out there seem to be pretty bad. I would like a game that mimics the cartoon.

To add it looks like Yu-Gi-Oh: Reshef of Destruction is the best Yu-Gi-Oh game out? Any options would be great.

This is to funny:

Joey Wheeler: "ey, when ya hang around Yugi, this is par for the course!"

and the classic on the whole Pharaoh thing: "this is the part where I get confused."

I liked forbidden memories, its sorta hard and you start off with crap cards but its a fun game.

I heard duelist of the roses on PS2 was ok and the GBA one (forgot the name :embarrassed: - not dungeon dice monsters) was pretty fun, it mimics well, you go around seeing people fighting them etc etc although i don't think that the GBA can handle 3d battling

Hope that helps!

Depends on which kind of game you wanna play. If you want strictly card battle, wait 'til World Championship 2005 comes out. If you want adventure with card battle in there, Reshef of Destruction should do.

Me? I'm waiting for Nightmare Troubadour for the DS before picking up another YGO game.

Also - YGO Destined Duel, or something, for XBox is strictly the card game, BUT, it's system link capable. Which means you can play online via XBox Connect.

Personally, I loved Forbidden Memories and Duelists of the Roses, but neither of them follow the traditional rules of the card game. If you're looking for a game that follows the actual rules, try 7 trials of glory for GBA, as it's the newest version and therefore has the most updated card selection.
