2600 Tac-Scan stickers

I got a hold of some atari 2600 items today. One was a game cartridge holding box which had 3 stickers on the sides of it. They were not placed really well, so I assume the case has nothing to do with the stickers.

However, the stickers mentioned include the label art of the tac-scan cart. 2 Of the stickers are round, about 1" in diameter, with the tac scan ship on them. The other sticker is rectangular, about 2.5" X 2.5" square with a yellow tac scan title as well as the ship.

Did these stickers come with the game when it orginally came out, or were these possible promo items, or a mail in?

Having never opened a sealed Tac-Scan, I can't say for sure but I have found sheets of stickers in 2 different boxed ones so I woulld think they were pack-ins.

AlanD is correct, the stickers came with the game when it orginally came out.

Sub-Scan also came with a sheet of stickers. Once in a great while you will see a complete copy including stickers on ebay.
