View Full Version : Well it's official, my X-Box is a Halo 2 T.V. Adaptor.

My X-Box eject button doesn't freaking work. :angry: Of course Halo 2 is in it.
Does anyone know if that little hole right under the tray is a manual eject button? I'm not about to shove a pin in there if it's not.
If I cant get it to work, i'm going to paint a huge halo 2 mural all over it and sell it on ebay as a Halo 2 T.V. Adaptor. I will expalin the situation of course, i'm not an ass.

I dont have an Xbox, but I would think that the hole is used for a manual/emergency eject button. I know CD drives in PC's have one incase your PC is incapable of ejecting a CD from its drive. Is it about the size of the point of a thumb tack? If so, its probably an eject button IMO...

Yes, on the slanted panel on the left of power/eject is an emergency ejecter (doesnt anyone ever read the damn manuals!??!)
Get a paperclip, make it straight and then gently push it out and the tray will pop out. I DEFINALY DO NOT recommend doing this unless its an emergency tho.

yes, that is a manual eject button. you have to shove somthing pretty far in there though, so i would reccomend using a paperclip, not a pin, but make sure it's perfectly straight, otherwise it will get jammed. use some pliers to make sure it's nice and straight.

sometimes if you pick up your xbox hold it close and gently rub it with your nose, then smash it to the ground and blame alan sometimes halo 2 will pop out.

Instead of reading the entire manual you could always only read the relevant parts of the manual. I must admit i usually don't read them either, but sometimes you can find something useful in them LOL

Make sure you pickup a samsung or a phillips, because the thompson drives suck.

For extra information. I Would have not known that if i had not read the manual. I like reading too. I supposed you didn't know that little tidbit of information because you didn't read the manual, so don't bash me for doing so and helping someone out.

^^ agreed.. also might need to recrystalize your pizzapizza 5.4.5buks comboBulator... you can have somebody do it on ebay, but make sure they are running windowshoobajube XP or it wont work right. :P
