Thought id add a bit of japanese weirdness to my room. So i bought this. PACHINKOOOOOO (^_^)

Always wanted one of these, plus this one is a great one with interactive lcd in the middle. Just got to wait for it to come from japan now.

Indeed. Is there a pachinko emulator/simulator, to go along with the fruit machine ones? If there is I want in on it...

MAME has a couple of pachinko games but not much. They JUST added the second Pachinko Sexy Reaction game, so there's two..and I wanna say there's an 8bit one in mame somewhere too but I can't remember for sure.

There are also several PS2 pachinko titles now, I've played a couple...I'd love to get a machine sometime though. Maybe someday.

I used to love pachinko when I was kid. All the lights and colors and movement--just like pinball.

Neat purchase! 8-)

One of my earliest memories of toys we had lying around the house back in like 1973 was a plastic pachinko machine. I'd sit there and just wack the steel balls up hoping they'd fall into the main playfield flower. :P

These days.. you know what Pachinko means to me? Drugs. The parlors are open 24/7, and where do the junkies go to get their meth or ice fix? That's right! Just hop over to the Pachinko parlor and get your fix! :D Dunno why but the dealers are always there.

I've been semi actively looking for one locally for about a year (I'm too cheap to pay for shipping). I want one of the old style ones without LCDs and all that electronic stuff though.

I do check there from time time. Never seen one local though. As I said, I'm too cheap to pay for shipping.

I love Pachinko! I saw one on E-bay awhile ago that I really wanted, but the seller would not ship to Canada. It was a newer style machine with the video screen in the middle. It was the Pac-man theme machine shaped like Pac-man. It went for about 150 US. :( And I couldn't get it........ :( :( :(

Sorry couldn't resist posting this. After 7 weeks waiting for it to come from japan i finally have my very own pachinko machine.

The video quality on the screen is amazing. Been playing it for a couple of days now & theres tons of different modes. The best bit is when it hits fever mode & the entire cabinet starts flashing & strobing. Ive never played anything like it.

Noisy but tons of fun. Grab your balls & get busy (^-^)oooo

They normally come without a cabinet but the guy i got it from in the uk got a carpenter to make a cabinet for it so i can wall mount it.

This is the start of it going into fever mode, the pics dont do it justice the entire front of the machine lights up like a firework display its totally hypnotic once it starts going mental.

And there we have it a tiny bit of japan liberated & stuck into my bedroom.
