I just picked up WWF No Mercy for N64 today (9.00 shrinked at Goodwill) and I noticed there is no belt option for exabition mode!! is this some kind of sick joke, or am i missing out on somethin here?

i believe you have to be fighting the person who has the belt, try that

if i still win the belt, could it be won and lost in exibition mode?

If I remember correctly, you have to win the belt to defend them in exhibition mode. It's been years since I've played No Mercy though.
Once you've gotten the belts and such, try getting all 100 people out in one of those Battle Royals. Thats like the hardest thing to do in the game. You'll unlock Andre the Giant that way. It took me forever to finally pull it off, but it was worth it.
