I am starting to dislike it. I like the hockey, but there are so many a**holes out there who quit just before the end of games, keep pausing while you have the puck to try to screw you up, cursing up a storm when there really is no need for it.
Does anyone here now how to view a persons feedback so you don't have to put up with these jerks.
Anyone here play the hockey, maybe we could hook up for a game.
Unless there are some better controls put in place by Microsoft for these kind of irritating people, I can see I will probably not renew when the time comes.

I really enjoy it... I've played with CongoBongo on it I believe and it's just been a blast.
Gamertag: ShinobiMan (surprised?)

I don't own NHL2K3 but as a good Canadian, I have played it. The few games I played were good and suprise, suprise, everyone I played was Canadian. I prefer Unreal and Mech Assault though. Can't wait for the new levels and Mechs that are supposed to be added sometiiime this month. If you wanna hook up for a game some time my gamertag is AlexKidd

I don't WANT to hear who I'm playing against. Just my opinion. I usually say stuff along the lines of "God, what a F&*$ing Moron, Does this stupid F8*#ing S&#T for brains know how to play a videogame?!?!?!
Not the type of thing that needs to be broadcast among other peoples headsets. Thus, no Xbox live for me.

I haven't played against anyone who talks like that yet. We use to have a big Lan game every weekend at my friends house, now we mostly just get together on Live since we can still trash talk each other. If you don't want people to hear you, you could always just hit your mute button. If you want to mute someone else you can do that as well or just turn the volume for the voice down and not hear anyone. If someone offends you too, you could always report their name on the xbox sight i think. I would only recomend this if they had joined your game, and would not stop if you asked them, not if you had joined theres.

I don't mind trash talk, some people are just ignorant abd sore losers. Its not the talking that is the worst of it, its playing a game and then with less than a minute left to play, they quit they game because they were losing and they don't want a registered loss against them. Or as I was saying when you are creating a good play, they start with the pausing , unpausing, pausing, unpausing just to screw you up.

Unless I'm playing a known friend I never use the headset. The conversation is usually poor anyway, so I never plug the headset in for sports games.
It does comes in handy when I'm playing Ghost Recon (so you can communication with team members). That's about the only use I have for it.
So you have the option to play without talking if you want.
There are a lot of cheaters out there. It really gets frustrating watching some of the tricks they pull. They'll do anything for a win. But, I play more good guys than bad ones, so the experience has been what I expected so far.
