Finally found an Odyssey

One of my students called me on Saturday to tell me that they had seen an old Odyssey at an antique shop.

I was sure it was an Odyssey 2 because they are far more common, but I decided to stop anyway.

I got a pleasant surprise when I got there. It is what appears to be a CIB Odyssey 1 in excellent condition. I'm not sure about complete because I haven't yet counted all the pieces, but all the major stuff is there and considering the condition, I'm fairly certain it's complete.

The store was asking $75, but we settled on $60.

I've never even seen one of these before. :D

200 Canadian, maybe. I see them sell for 100-120, tops.

it almost seems weird they wanted that much for it, its usually total ignorance or greater than ebay pricing. its a great score for having the "first" console of sorts but its also kinda funny to spend on a system thats barely enjoyable to play.
