Yup.

yeah i remember they used to rate on a scale of 1000, and had ugly chicks in them all the time. that was not a very good magazine. it was for the hardcore, but it was retarded.

well, LOL we tried to do things a wee bit differently than other, more mainstream game mags. some stuff worked, some didn't, the funny thing was seeing a few mainstream mags "borrow" stories from us and do them flashier.

one of the funniest things we did was run a fake review for a g.i. joe game that had people coming into the store to buy it, and at least one game company send us a nasty letter about leaking one of their projects! we also did a fake backyard wrestling review well over a year before eidos did their game, and the funny thing was it played pretty much as the writer described it. ah well, all good things must come to an end...

I liked the idea of Foul but ultimately it was mediocre on it's best day. I haven't been around St. Marks for awhile, i heard Multimedia 1.0 is still around with a new owner. Is this true and if so how is it? Sorry for the semi thread jack.

Anyone got any spare issues? I'm missing at least one... Email me and I can tell you which I'm missing.

And yeah, not great, but kind of fun. Come to think of it, who remembers Flux? And which was better? :-)

I remember Flux, but only briefly. I remember it covered comics as well as games and for some reason, this stuck in my then-10 year old brain and has stayed there to this day: in the bottom corner of the pages in one issue (or maybe all of them) there was sort of a "flip book" with a naked girl (with black censor bars).

Ahh I remember that mag somewhat (only read the first free issue lol)
I used to go to multimedia 1.0 sometimes, but their prices get pretty scary. Whats up with those prices geelw? haha. I don't know if they are completely new owners now. I know that the tall white guy that always had a hat on, and the short guy with the beard aren't there anymore lol. Since those prices get weird over there, I have found this website and just ebay too I guess.

I've only got two issues, one that I got from E3, and a few months later I was shocked to find it on a news stand in Phoneix. So, I bought it and subscribed to it, but it went out of business before I got my first issue.

GOD how I hate answers like this. There's a simple forum rule here - if you don't have anything to contribute, don't hit the submit button.

Foul had great reviews. They cursed, they were sarcastic, they were entertaining. But, yeah, the rest kinda sucked. How about Insite magazine? Trying to combine FHM and EGM never works IMHO.

Foul doesn't ring any bells, but I do remember FLUX. That naked flip book girl was the closest an 11 year old could get to porn back in the days before the internet.

You kids today with all your easy access to nekkidness.

I still have 2 of each issue of foulmag.
