I see a lot of different percentages around, I have seen 30%, 50%, and up to 70%, is less water and more isoprophyl better, or is it the other way around?

The less water the better, I use a 91% mixture personally.

mine is 70% too. and it's spelled isopropyl. anyways i always use Denatured alcohol instead. it's stronger and works better, but does'nt ruin plastic like acetone does.

in general the less water you have the faster it dries and lesser is the risk for water damage.

Stabilant 22 is the best contact enhancer/protector. Deoxit is good for cleaning though. Personally, I would deoxit, dry whipe it clean, then use isopropyl, let it dry up, and then use a very thin and small amount of Stabilant 22.

Well, the cheap way to go would be to use 99% isopropyl alcohol and q-tips, which is inexpensive:

After that, when not playing them, you will want to keep your carts in a very dry and clean place, such as in a closet with clean dust covers are each cart.
