put a deposit on stadium events today.

went to a local game store today and asked if they could locate me a copy of stadium events.
well the employ replies "let me check and see if we have it in one of our other stores" he comes back a few mins later and says he has found it for 4.99 @ another store and 6 bucks shipping. i had to pay shipping charges up front which was fine with me.
now lets see if they come through.... :)
i picked alot of other things today also.
stoped in gamecrazy and grabbed 3 copies of paper mario, xcom ufo defense, killer instinct gold, gunstar heroes, sonic and knuckles, general chaos, toki going ape spit and toe jam and earl.
pretty good day considering i have had no sleep. :)

Seriosly though I hop you get your SE, that would be very cool and odd that they'd be able to order Stadium Events, but have games like Shining Force III and Suiko II on their "can't order" list.

He said "local gamestore", not "gamecrazy". He mentioned he went to gamecrazy though. So he's not ordering SE through a gamecrazy, but a local gamestore.

i think it was worth a shot.... worse thing i can do is losea few bucks or gain a cool game.. :)
i have pretty good luck on my hunts.
a few weeks back i picked up valkyrie profile for 10 bucks.
the same place i found v.p. i also found suikoden 1 and 2 last year...
when resident evil 2 and 3 were hot on gc i found and sold a bunch of those on ebay.
4 sealed copies of rez for 7.00 each at toys r us when they had the 90% off sale.
mega man x3 with the box for 10 bucks.
so i hope my luck holds out :) i seem to have some good hunting spots...

I dont think he's said for sure one way or the other but I would think its GameCrazy just because the $6 shipping is the exact amount they charge for that stuff. I tried to get a couple games and it never happened. GameStops as far as I know dont do it and couldnt look up in the computer for other stores inventory, they would have to call but if they did I dont think they would be able to charge any shipping, not sure about EB or Game Rush though.

If you ordered it at a Gamecrazy good luck. I've had Little Samson, Bonk's Adventure, and Mario's Missing on order since November. Every time I call I get some guy who obviously doesn't know what he's talking about telling me that they should be in any day. I really don't care because if they do come in, it will be worth the wait (got a Snow Brothers that way). My only thing is that I know they won't be in good shape. Yet I would take the worst conditioned ever SE for $10.

i have been searching for a bonks adventure on nes for a few months now.
the best i have found is super bonk on snes for 8 bucks... so i bought it.
its not game crazy by the way... :)
