It's especially great for Japanese games as it tells you whether you need to know the language or not to play certain games. Do yourself a favor and register. It's easy and you'll get more screenshots.

There's a whole lotta stuff on this site, and the reviews are short enough to make browsing it pretty fun. I don't always agree with them, but it's a very readable site. ;)

Hi Syxx,
I thought this was a nice site as well. It focuses a little more on import games, but you'll be able to play those without any problems or complications if you get a Turbo Duo. It has a handful of reviews for games that you don't really hear much about.

As for where to get one, eBay would be the obvious answer, but I also found that inquiring on the Buying and Selling forum, or maybe even heading over to Neo-Geo.com to inquire on their Everything Else forum might help. I was able to get a great response this way and was able to get my Duo from a member on this very site. The transaction and everything was as smooth as it gets.
Hope this helps.

Depends on how much you want to spend. Duos are spendy, i got mine on ebay for 100 bucks but that was a few years ago. I've seen them push 400 bucks in cost. That said there really isnt a good place to look in paticular that I know of for a duo.

For used DUO it's been mention here all ready.
Ebay
Sell forum here or neo-geo.com sell forum.
D-lite sells them too here's his site.

If you do get one try the (Duo R or RX) model it's more "durable" then the regulars ones.
It will cost ya over $200.00 but, i think there well worth it.

Pretty much all of the sites mentioned are good.
One has to use common sense and intuition when dealing with some of the more obscure PCE stuff.
It's not like some domestic games where you can interpolate between reviewers who hype games and people who trash them for no reason.
Most of the time though if you find a review that says a game is good I would say just judge it by type of game it is relative to personal preference, and the price.
A number of expensive games on the system are worth it, some aren't.
Sapphire for instance is nowhere near worth the $400 dollars people try to sell it for.
Easy, short simple shooter. It sells for !$$$! because of scarcity and the neato graphical fx.
If you have questions about specific PCE DUO games there is a good chance I have played them.
I have been thinking about putting some revies up on the net somewhere for a number of PCE DUO games so that they would have more than 0-1 full reviews in English on the net.

I've been looking into getting a Duo lately, but I'd like a setup that could play all region SCD (is that the term) and all region Hu Cards. Can someone explain such a setup? Or will just the Duo be enough for my needs?
Thanks

Please do this! I love reading reviews, especially for unknown/rare/obscure games for systems like the Duo. Having more reviews out there for these kinds of games would be a godsend!

All CD games are region free just the Hucards are not.
Still a Duo can be region modded, to play U.S and JPN hucards.
