I just got a neo geo and samurai spirits 2 as one of the games. I may be losing my mind but i could swear that i remember there being finishing moves in the game. My neo geo is a japanese system and the game is the japanese version so i have blood but no finishing moves. Somebody tell me if i am a moron or not.

Depends on what you mean. If you mean as in Mortal Kombat "Finish Him" then no there is none of that. If you mean Supers then yes. Once your Rage Gauge fills up it will show you the motions for performing your Super. Actually one of the things I really enjoyed about SSII was the fact that the Supers didn't do massive damage, but gave you advantage by breaking the opponents weapon. Now if only I was better at parrying :)

I think -sometimes- you get a special "ending move," like your opponent standing still for a second and bleeding a lot or something, but I don't think there was any specific way to make it happen - some matches simply ended with one and others didn't.

You had your super moves, if you mean "fatality" moves, you have to turn on the blood code and then finish your opponent with a strong or fierce slash (specials usually work too).

They look extra nice in Sam Sho Special, where if you stand close enough when the spurt happens, your character get's drenched in blood.
