Yes, the US version had some cuts of vagina monsters and possibll tennacle creatures.

That game looks very bizarre (coming from those videos). I had the game for a short while but never found the time to play it. I guess I'll have to now. LOL

that wins the award for "F***ED UP" for today...
I've never played D2, because many told me it has nothing to do with the original, so that's pretty much why I stayed away from it.
Yet judging from the clips, it doesn't look like a bad game at all. It sort of reminds me of John Carpenter's "The Thing"

its similar to The Thing in a lot of aspects, but there is a lot of Dreamcast cheese in the storyline. -toying around with Blue Stinger and The Ring: Terror's Realm for a bit-
Somewhat unrelated, but in an old Gamers Republic issue I recently found, they review D2 (A-) & in one of the several screenshots accompanying the text there's a shot (from the front) of Kimberly nude, bending over & you can just about make out her (ahem) parts.
Well, it's in the spirit of the topic, anyway... ;)

a LOT of people who haven't played this game should, lol. it's a classic, i'd say. the ONLY cuts in the US version of the game were the infamous tentacle scene in the opening movie, the old man boss (the tentacle was moved up a bit), and after the kimberly fight, she's partially covered now. other than that, everything's intact. i guess sega thought "hell, if anyone can play past the second disc, more power to 'em" or something...
for you horndogs out there: don't expect anything that'll make you play the game one-handed. all of the nudity here is pretty disturbing when taken in context.
as for "vagina bosses" isn't the giant computer laura fights the only "real" one you actually see in the game. what with the design and the moaning when it's shot at (and the icky mess when it's cracked open) it's pretty obvious, lol.
my favorite boss is the old woman with the violin and massive wings, though. creeps me out every time, and i love how the battle takes place indoors in a not so big room...

Romancing SaGa 3 has vagina-looking (mini)bosses, too. They're called "Life Traps" and they're in Byunei's Nest.
