Kenji Eno's Warp is one of those great nithe Japanese development studios. They created D, Enemy Zero and D2.

All of their games are stunning as they are misunderstood.

I haven't heard anything from them since D2, except for the fact that they changed their name to Superwarp. For Superwarp I can find this website: http://www.superwarp.com/ (cool music). If this is indeed the Warp that I know, perhaps this is a new game on the horizon?

So, anyways... does anyone know what Warp/Superwarp/Kenji Eno is up to?

That's old, and the superwarp site was updated this year.

This is timely; I was just playing D2 this weekend. I don't know what happened to them, but I think they're pretty cool for D2 alone. (I haven't played Enemy Zero).

When you load D2, and the Warp logo comes up, one of the images it shows is like an "overworld" scene from some 8-bit RPG. Anyone know what that is? Or did they just make that up?

It's just their own thing.

Enemy Zero is good. Both Laura and Kimberly star. D is an excellent game as well.

I thought D was really entertaining the first time through (don't know if it would be as fun the second time), but D2 is a pretty amazing game. I love the blend of different gaming styles that they introduced into the game, sort of like Golgo 13. You don't see that type of thing anymore. If you do, it's just because of changes in camera angles.

D2's great, though. I'm surprised it's not more well-known.

You know, I remember when Dreamcast was first announced, D2 was the game that Sega of Japan was using to show off the hardware. I think it was a launch title in Japan or something. It didn't hit the U.S. until near the end of the Dreamcast's life span, though. Reading about that game made me want to get a Dreamcast back then.

Interesting enough how D2 was supose to be on the M2.

Then the M2 console gets canned and, ends up on the DC insted X_x
