GameSpot did a Q&A on Prey (Link (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/prey/preview_6124152.html)). The information is, as you would expect, a bit vague. But the screenshots here (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/prey/screenindex.html) look stunning. I've not seen the Doom 3 engine look so detailed to date.

It's nice that Prey might actually see the light, now. Let's hope Prey moving in the right direction pushes DNF along, too!

I wouldn't hold my breath...DNF is more of a punchline than anything else these days. But I hope Prey sees the light, too. If I remember correctly, the guy who did the Reefer Pods for Quake I was hired by 3DRealms to do their AI routines. That means it should be very awesome.

Back in 1999-2000 (the last time I looked it up; the webpages were still current at the time I believe), this project had been dead for what seemed like forever. A return has made me very, very happy, though a part of me wishes that it could've been released at the time, just to see what that version would've been like...probably up to Half-Life standards judging from what I'd seen, plus portals. Still, this is going to be EVEN BETTER in every other way, good game to all the folks at 3DR and HH.

I am so ridiculously happy that Prey is returning.

And in the new PCgamer, they have so many more screenshots, and they went hands on with DNF.

Yeah, DNF is gonna come out. Hell yeah.

Wait... *the* Prey? You have to be shitting me, they're STILL working on it?. Wow, just wow.

Nope, they resurrected it. HH has changed around the storyline and done all sorts of other things.

I hope to god they're still using the KMFDM soundtrack :eek 2:

Same here. But the project is quite ambitious so... perhaps it was for the best. 3D Realms worked wonders with very restricted tecnology. Now they've got a lot of freedom - we should all fear their creativity!
