Am I unaware of some sudden spike in SMS popularity/prices?

Cause normally they go for like $15 on ebay.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Suddenly, they've all gone up in price. I just bought a SMS for my brother off of eBay, and just the console and 4 games ended up costing $50. I have no idea what's causing this resurgence, but, hey, if it means more SMS fans, I'm all for it! 8-) :P

It's been like this for a while...when I started looking at SMS stuff, actually, but that's just been the last year.half or so.

I got mine for $35 shipped with 4 games from a fellow forum member... however once another forum member offered a long wanted 7800 with 8 games and 3 controllers for trade I quickly swiped up the deal.. (good by sms...)

Yeah SMS consoles and games are at a steady rise on ebay.

I remember a year ago when I passed on a lot with a Buster Douglas Boxing (Complete) with 10 other games for $60-70 because I thought it was too much... if only I'd have known.

I just found this place at a market near where I live and you wouldn't believe the deals I saw on old games, You can get a SMS with a game for $15 and the games are $3 a peice!!! I'm picking some up this weekend after I get paid.
Off topic but I also picked up Bubble Bobble for the NES for $3 from him :D

Awesome, I'm glad I complete the system's collection last year. Guess I did it at the right time. Perhaps I should get rid of some extras considering the spike in price.
