Anyone picked up this game? I noticed it at my local EB today while buying Atari Anthology for the PS2. It looks like Hudson made the game but Konami was responsible for bringing it to the US.

The graphics are amazing (as many PSP games are) and the gameplay sounds like a mix of action and RPG. It's been out for a few weeks. The reviews online are mixed -- some love it and some hate it.

Has anyone here played it and can offer direct feedback, espeicly on exactly what kind of game that it is, how the online gameplay is and what it details, and how many hours of game play?

I plan on picking it up when i can get it for under $2o used, reviews are too mixed to shell out 40 bucks yet.

Eh, it's not bad. Not good, either. It's so-so.

Haven't played the game, but SOMEBODY had to do it.

If you enjoy dungeon-crawlers, you'd like the game. It's definitely not for everyone. I had a great time playing it, finally beating the final boss yesterday afternoon. Now I just need to go back and test out the weapons I didn't use.

Yeah I'll agree with Dahne, its not the best, but its not terribly either. It wasnt exactly what I was expecting when i pro ordered it, but its still fairly fun.

I picked this up two weeks ago and gave it a fighting chance. I hate to say it after seeing both the Hudson and Konami logos at startup, but the game totally sucks. Really, it sucks. :/

It was the first game I have traded in in years. I used the credit towards Untold Legends. Decent Diablo/Champions of Norrath clone.

Yep. I think IGN's review said something to the effect of "If this wasn't a launch title, it never would've come to the States," which is entirely true.

This was one of the titles I was looking forward to importing a couple months back. Although once I heard how the game played out from importers, I figured I'd save my money for some other game (mga us version).

Even after reading the mixed opinions here about the game I thinkt I'll still give it a try. If it comes out in Europe and if I still have money after buyin the PSP istelf, Wipeout, Lumines and Untold Legend... ;)

Ridge Racer needs to be on that list. Don't pass up RR for Rengoku. It really is so terrible, even the graphics are weak.

Not a fan of Rengoku. Not at all!!! I will be trading it in soon.

Rented it at Blockbuster, didn't feel like something I'd buy. The OPM review ripped it to shreads (1 out of 5).
