Yeah, its all pretty cool. Xbox 2 is probably everything the Xbox was meant to be, bar raising the spec. Microsoft have got the balls to make radical changes and the money to back up their mistakes. Only Sony can compete with that. I fear for Nintendo's "revolution" because, well, do we need a revolution?
I like the way things are going.
Sorry to hijack this thread somewhat, but I wonder what the price on the PS3 will be, considering it will be more powerful. I suspect, when the PS3 launches, we'll see Xbox 360 prices tumble significantly. Microsoft might have made the right move releasing early.

So like I said on the Yaks own site,
"Now we know why he really pulled the plug on the Nintendo release, Unity."
It also kind of explains why the plug is still pulled on Unity, even though the N5 will have Backwards compatability. Apparently, the hint from Minter, Giles, and crew, is that they are working on a Shooter for the 360 also. Which sounds to me like they are just moving Unity from one console to the next. Which to me is ironic, considering that Jeff stated he wanted it on a Nintendo console, because of the type of Gamer and Prestige that comes with games that are released on Nintendo.
"Bah!" I say. Updated Visual Light Synth's wont move me to buy an Xbox 360. I do congratulate the Llamasoft team for getting a major licensing deal though. No one can argue that it's a bad thing for either Microsoft or Llamasoft (as many Llama lovers have announced their sudden 360 preorders). I just don't like the deception that I feel has been endured.
