OK, so I work at the local Blockbuster as the game dude, and boy, do I get some interesting trades! The other day, this podunk hillbilly gives me this PS1 disc to trade called "Puzzle Bobble II" so I look it up in the ol' computer and it doesn't show up anywhere. Then I notice it's an import. So I end up takig the trade under "Bubble bobble collection" just because I want to buy it the next day. "Most bubble bobble stuff is pretty rare, right?" I was thinking to myself. So my friend ends up buying the thing the next day (bastard!) and we cruise over to digitpress to look up the rarity. But hey! The game is nowhere to be found. I looked under non-US releases, and even under Taito (the publisher) but nothing seemed to come even close. I googled it, and got no solid answers either! Maybe you guys can help me solve this "Puzzle Bobble II" mystery?
The disc is yellow, distinctly for the playstation, and Japanese. It doesn't seem to be part of a set or collection or whatever. And it definitely isn't the Saturn "Puzzle Bobble 2x"
thanks!

From a (very) quick peek at Google, it looks like it exists. Any pictures?

If it's JAPANESE and it's for PlayStation 1, you should be asking me. Puzzle Bobble 2 is made by Tatio and it's the same as "Bust A Move 2 Arcade Edition" in the US. The serial number is most likely slps-00284 (Unless you got The Best edition which is Japanese for Greatest Hits).

You can go directly to that link to look at the front and back cover.

Well that is all I need to know! Thanks for the info.
Alright, so how do we go about getting that thing in the database here? Or does DigitalPress only deal in American releases and their overseas equivalents?

I think DP not only does American, but it's just much harder to get a good overview of the Japanese market then the American market . This makes why it's much harder to get a good coverage of these games I think. Currently the euro-section is really getting better already for example.
