By looking at the front of the box, can one tell if the Pac-Man is the licensed or unlicensed version? How much do you think each would be sealed in box?

Uh, I'd guess to look for the "Nintendo Seal of Quality" on the box for the licensed version.

Ye.. licensed games have a "Original Nintendo Seal of Quality" mark on them. Unlicensed games also have a diffrent cartridge than the official from Nintendo.

as for price i think that they are fairly close to being worth the same.

Gray cart = licensed
Black cart = unlicensed

But if you're going just by the box, unlicensed Tengen's have gold-ish color trim, licensed ones do not.

Also Tengen boxes have a different fold at the bottom.

In what I have seen, the licensed version of Pac-Man is rarer.

But no one really seems to care.
