I never sell games to a video game store, you get robbed. Sell them on ebay or something instead, you'll surely get more for the items that way.

those are are good games and farily new, if you sell them on ebay in a lot you could easy make alot of cash.

It's kind of a double-edged sword, since you could probably get a nice deal if you sold your GC now, But if you wait until the PS3 comes out, you can probably snag a PS2 for pretty cheap.

I have all 3 current gen systems and I love my GameCube the most. As a matter of fact I have 2 of them (1 is unopened). I would never get rid of them.

If you do decide to get rid ot it, listen to the others and don't simply trade it in they really give you the shaft.

You could advertize locally and sell that stuff to someone's parents, if you don't want to putz around with EBay. My first video game system was a garage sale find my Dad picked up because he thought the kids might like it.

Those are some of the best games the GameCube has, in my opinion. I wouldn't do it.

ebay is a pain, but it will get you the best $$, if i was you i would just sell the games (to other DP members) and keep the system (incase another good game comes out for the GameCube that you want to play)

you can get a used PS2 cheap as long as you stay away for the game stores.. and as pointed out once the PS3 comes out, the PS2 will be even cheaper then..

good luck,

Rick

I say keep those games and the GC. Like Aussie said those are some of the best titles on the GC.

Just play those games till you get enough money for a PS2 and then you can have both.

Also you do know that if you sell your RE4 and get the PS2 version chances are you'll be dissapointed since the GC is more powerfull, and the PS2 version won't have the technical prowess of it's GC big brother.

god no, never trade in games to game stores, you'll get next to nothing for them. and with awesome rpgs like that you should keep them anyway. just wait for a while, save some cash then pick up a ps2. they're pretty cheap used now anyway

Why don't you try swapping your stuff on these very forums? I feel almost tempted to offer my pretty much new PS2 as you giving your shit to a store is such a waste. They won't give you nearly what it's worth and it'll end up costing you more money. :)

Just wait till you get enough cash to pick up a ps2. That's an awesome gamecube package with some great games. Seems kind of a waste just to jump ship on it and get a ps2 imho.

Aaron,

Most every reply has told you not do it. The fact is that it's probably not a great financial move... but if you've moved on from those games and know that you never wish to play them again and no longer gain enjoyment from owning them, then there is no reason to hold on to them. A lot of us are collectors, so we have a natural antipathy towards selling (especially a nice package like you have), but if you want something new and realize that you're going to take a value hit, then go for it. But don't trade it in at a gamestore - either eBay or ask around here.

That being said, I'd personally keep it.
