Is there any difference in value for any of the variations? I am guessing not... however I don't know. I know there are clear labels and a blue label. I have 2 that are both a clear label but one is a green printed circuit board, the other is a black printed circuit board.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Have you checked various ROM sites to see if there are multiple ROM versions out there (not counting bad dumps)?

Never thought of that, I've not been very acquainted with the ROM scene. I will have to look at both carts to see if there is any differences like that since they are clear cases.

Well, it was a cut-rate operation so it wouldn't be surprising if every PCB was not identical. Although that wouldn't tell you anything about a potential ROM variation.
This is a silly question, but have you played them both to make sure one isn't a Cheetahmen II cart? (some Cheetahmen II's don't have the sticker on the back).

Ahh, but I wish a Ceetahman II cart..... but alas both have the same cheesy Lights, Camera,Action 52 opening.

If it wasn't for the box and guide I have, I would think that maybe some guy was making these in his basement lol.

I have a black one, they are ten times more rare than green boards, value wise who knows though.

and if i remember correctly, the 2 games that dont work on the green board work on the black one (alfredo and some puzzle game i think)
EDIT: might just be from personal experience. I have the green board with clear label and 2 games dont work (in the box theres a piece of paper that says x and x dont work). friend has black board with clear label and the 2 games work... ?

I'll have to dig out the box and look for that slip of paper, I didn't remember that part. Thats why I ask here, a vast knowledge that cannot be compared!

Proper variations of an Action 52 or a Cheetahmen II cart:
Smashed
Crushed
Melted
Charred
Blown by Static Electricity.

Sorry, must bring this thread back from the dead.

I had my Action 52 returned to me because the buyer was upset that these 2 games didnt work.
My question is: Is that piece of paper in the factory sealed box? I mean, are those 2 game not supposed to work, straight from the manufacturer?

I never thought about it until I read this again, but unless someone else has this exact piece of paper, I'm going to assume it was something added by a rental store, since there was 2 of them. Kinda odd though, doesn't look like an exrental one bit, and if it was, why would they go through the trouble of printing this out if only 2 people probably ever rented it? LOL
I got all the original paperwork with mine too, which would make it one odd rental place...
Edit: read the paper again... how would the rental place know about these so called secret worlds, if you can't even complete ooze? :/

I traded away my box and book that I had, so I cannot confirm the above paper. However, maybe someone can verify it. If I recall, there was an orange piece of paper in mine, not sure what was on it now.... it may have been like the one above or something different. Anyone out there with an orange paper in theirs?

That would be it. I don't care about complete copies, I am happy with the game only.
I recalled something about that, and thought I would throw it out there in case we could help someone.
