Yeah, I know about Shikigami No Shiro. Is that the only one? And don't tell me that Panzer Dragoon Orta is a shmup, either.That'd be a "rail shooter".

There's a sequel to Shikigami on the way, but that's the only upcoming shooter I know of.

And if you need to chase away the I Got No New Shooters Blues, head out to your local EB and pick up Sol Divide (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/categories/products/product.asp?pf_id=232256) for ten bucks.

Thanks, KF. I just read about Sol Divide yesterday at shmups.com, so I've already called the two closest EBs. Neither of them have it stocked in, and nobody knew if any (more?) were coming, so I'll probably have to order it online. It's kind of funny that ebgames.com is the only online seller I can find that carries it. Is that because it hasn't actually been released in the U.S. yet? Have you been to the local EB and picked up a copy?

When I called the second store, the clerk told me that the only way they would get ANY more PSX games in stock was if somebody traded them in. Correctly or not, she believed that the store was not taking delivery of any more PSX new releases. Those are like, so outdated, you know?

I grabbed mine at my neighborhood EB last Friday, during my final day as a seasonal employee. We only had two copies in, so it may be that they're already gone from many stores.

These people seem to think every shmup is fighting and games like Doom are "shoot 'em ups". Grrrrr.

I'm glad to see another $10 shmup for PSX, but dissapointed that it's still not Dodonpachi. GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Sorry to revive an OLD post, but i'm sure someone will point it out if I don't.

Does anyone have a list of all the 2D shooters released on XBox, especially the Japanese ones. My XBox is now modded so i'd love to try and get hold of them. Don't really care if they are good or bad. Heh. I tried using the Rarity Guide but it wasn't very fruitful.
If theres a thread with this already in (other than this one) then please show me.

Crap, you're right. Shiki 1 came out in the U.S. for PS2 as MLF 2, as did Shiki 2 (but without the goofy name change). So you can at least get those without modding, but I guess it's strictly import for Psyvariar 2. :(

Well i'm in England so we get bugger all over here. No groovy XBox shooters for me, oh no. I'm practically being forced to mod my XBox...yep yep. Swines.
