Yes, I know, my 1st topic and 2nd post is a plee for help. Please excuse me.

I was out shopping for game stuff this weekend and happened upon a guidebook for Zelda 1 and 2 for the NES title "Conquering Zelda: The Unauthorized Guide" by Donald R. McCrary. It was published by Compute books and is apparently the 1st edition with only 115 pages. I tried to do my normal "check ebay and amazon" for a general price of the book, but I did not find a single copy on ebay and only 1 on Amazon for $90. Now as much as I would love for my $3 investment to show such a nice turnout, I am pretty sure that is too good to be true. So on the suggestion of someone from another forum and apparently a member here, I ask you knowledgable folk for some assistance.

Hell, it's Zelda. Get it. Even if it doesn't turn out to be worth much, it'd be nice to have.

Books on amazon sometimes have crazy inflated prices. I have this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/offer-listing/B0006XH6IU/ref=dp_olp_2//103-7530417-8414255?condition=all) book, and I'm sure it's worth about a dollar, what I paid for it.

There's a lot of typos in this but it's a very thorough book. It details EVERYTHING you need to do. In far more detail than is ever needed. I want to pick up a new copy since the one I have is falling apart from use, but prices vary a lot. It went for $8 a week or so ago.

Oh, I bought it. Trust me, value is not my first concern. I am what you might call a "fanboy". But it would be nice to have something to throw back at my friend who bought Suikoden 2 complete for $15.

Have I ever told you how much I really hate Randy? (:

Heh, imagine being there when he bought it and about a couple seconds shy of seeing it first.

Back to watching the trailer for X-men Legends II over and over again.
