Some half decent Mega Drive scores for once:

From Gametraders:
Strider (complete)- $9 Au

Cash Converters:
Universal Soldier (complete with accolade cards and all)- $7 Au
Mystic Defender (complete)- $5 Au

Best thing is that cashies have heaps more games than last time, theyre no longer behind glass, AND it turns out that someone I went to primary school with works there. Cashies has been redeemed :)

I'm just wondering, how much did all those games cost?

Alot. LOL
There were some decent games in there though, like 2 of the Final Fantasy's, Genghis Khan. A few R6's, but nothing outrageously rare.
I'm on my way to completing all of NES, SNES and N64. This was a big help. ;)

Iridion 3D (GBA-loose) Free

I found this game half-buried in the earth at a local park. Some kid must have dropped it and from the looks of the game it had been sitting there for a few days. I didn't think it would work at all--there was dirt and mud caked up on the contacts and it had rained for the better part of the day on top of that.

I took it home, cleaned it up real nice and it fired right up. Not that great of a game though. LOL

Well its been quite slow here over the past few weeks, but today I did manage to get to the SERF shop (thrift store) before it closed at 4:45pm. Of course this is the same shop that wanted 45$ for a Genny system. I only stop from time to time to see if there are any "cool" coffee mugs (yeah I know, it sounds weird)... But this afternoon I went in and found a Rampage NES complete with box/manual for $5.00. Sort of rough condition, but still a spot in my collection that is filled :)

-Lemmings (NES) (factory sealed) ($30.00)
-Zen: Intergalactic Ninja (NES) (loose) ($2.00)

I had a major deal that was supposed to go down today, but I have to wait until Saturday now.. it's an Intellivision with 80-100 games, "all boxed". While this deal is not 100% yet, I do have confidence that my seller will come through. This could be VERY BIG, as in, many rare games, or it could be VERY SHITTY as in 10 copies each of eight crappy games.

I will post a picture if the deal goes thru on Saturday. In the meanwhile, here is a picture of Lemmings and Zen that I received in the mail this week:

Wow... I walked into a pawn shop today and found a mint non-GH of Twisted Metal 2 after digging through piles of games. Nothing big, but I got it for $5.

It gets better.

I'm ringing up for TM2 and I see a huge plastic bin with PS games behind the counter. I ask if they are for sale and they are.

Koudelka - complete
Tales of Destiny - complete
Ogre Battle - complete, unit handout AND memory card stickers included.

$30 for all.

I haven't actually played the SNES version, but from the limited exposure I got to this last night, it looks pretty good. Decent range of games, password save to keep your $$$, though the control sometimes seems a little clunky. But a glance at the manual probably could have smoothed that out. It's actually the only gambling game I have in my collection, next to INTV Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack and A2600 Casino. But they're too limited in scope to really compare.

The past 2 times that i've ordered from EBgames.com i've bought a cheap PSone game to get the free shipping. Of course they were scratched up and crappy, so I went to the local store to return them.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - Preowned for $12.99 X_x

NHL Breakaway 99, $AUS8
Mischief Makers, $AUS10

3 complete PS2 games, $AUS10 each:

new jeans, don't even ask how much

and I bought a MegaDrive 2 at a game store
for $AUS40 - a tad over the odds, I know,
but I've been dying to get one for weeks now,
and I figured it'd be convenient, and hey, these
guys test these things, right?

I get it home, and it has the wrong AC adaptor
