View Full Version : Does anyone play Somari? (Sonic)
I don't know what to call this, (eight-bit Somari) we are talking here. Can anybody gets past the first thirty-five seconds in this game? If ithere is I think they are you are break dancing genius. A break dancing genius I said. Just kidding but...
Ask yourself while playing, if it is a game with glitches possibly? Or is it possibly that this game has no glitches at all it's just that back grounds look like walls quite often. Hard game definitely.

I've gotten up to the third act of the first zone. It IS a hard game, due to the number of enemies strewn about. I can't get thru more than a few screens before getting hit by something.

I have beaten this little gem. It plays exactly like Sonic 1 right to Robotnik's retreat after the final fight. Well, ignoring the bugs and glitches.
The ending as much as I recall it was a very fleeting glimpse of Robotnik mocking you (didn't get all of the emeralds ending) and then a solid black screen.

I thought it was cute as a gaming oddity but too buggy to warrant much real playtime. I'll stick with my better balanced, more stable Sonic. Nice to hear that they actually reproduced the whole game though, and not just a couple of levels.

Yeah i got the rom, but when i first played it i thought it totally sucked,should i invest more time in this game?I think the controls are horrible!

Ohs! I must habeen smoking something, or I was rather. The game I was playing yesterday is called SONIC V and it is definitely hard as hell. I have Somari and this one both on pirate carts, somari being somewhat easier. This Sonic V game however is murder, it's like drop rings chase after them and repeat.
