There is a list of 60 games with the auction, and the deal is for a PS1 and extras, and 30 games of the buyers choice.

suggestions? :D

Here's what I'd do... take all the games I've marked with stars.
Note that I have specific tastes, and I'm not a big fan of sports games. If you are, you might want to swap out one of the fighters and replace it with Brian Lara Cricket, which I've heard is pretty good... for cricket, anyway.
Anna Kournikova Tennis? That's like making Buster Douglas Boxing or Bob Eucher Baseball! Oh wait a minute, they actually DID make the boxing game, didn't they? Oy...

Are they games copies or do you not care?

If they are copies then it would be against eBays rules.

So I would care, as I would resell half of the stock.

THX...I don't want to be bringing bad news, but I know that auctions like this, in the US, where they offer your choice of popular games yet don't provide pictures of those games, are almost always selling copies.

I hope that I'm wrong, though, and that you just got a great deal :-)

I'm willing to bet they're bootlegs. No pictures, No indication of wether they're complete, loose, or missing anything, Also the way it states 2CDs, besides the double disc games. Those might actually count as two choices. @_@

Oh and Choice auctions in general are a not allowed on US ebay, probably not on ebay.co.uk either. It makes it too easy for there to be missunderstandings between the buyer & seller. Guess too many people complained over them so they were banned. I actually like the idea behind choice auctions though, it's a shame they always shut'um down before I have a chance to bid.

I would go with these personally:

007: The world is not enough
ace combat 2
brian lara cricket
colin mcrae rally 2
Die hard trilogy 2
Driver 2 (2CDs)
g police (2 CDs)
gauntlet legends
grand theft auto 2
grand turismo 2 (2CDs)
Grandia (2 CDs)
Medal of Honour
metal gear solid (2Cds)
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
pacman world
parasite eve (2CDs)
point blank (GCON gun)
point blank 2 (GCON gun)
Rayman 2
ridge racer type 4
spiderman
tekken 3
Tenchu 2
Tenchu stealth assassins
Time crisis (GCON gun)
time crisis project titan (GCON gun)
who wants to be a millionaire
worms
worms armagreddon
WWF Smackdown 2

Also i'm not 100% sure, but I believe that Time Crisis, and Time Crisis Project Titan are the eact same game only Project Titan has more extras. Someone else will have to verify this though as I just seem to remember something like that.

Before you pay I would really make sure you get confirmation that they are legitimate games with cases and manuals. Looking at the auction I immediately thought they were fake. Usually if the seller dances around the description, it really is too good to be true.
Good luck!

I would say the games are copies from his vague description and no pics of the games. However if you didnot ask before you bid then you are still obligated to pay for this auction. Since he never stated if the games you can choose from are complete, discs only copies etc then I don't think he violated any rules. Always ask and in this case have him send a picture of the games to you before bidiing.

Well I am getting all 60 anyway now. For £121.99.

I paid by credit card, through Billpopint (the UK eBay service that Pay-Pal is replacing) and I shall wait and see with interest what exactly I get.

Stranger things have happened; look at this recent sale I did, I had no real pictures of my stuff, and the guy bid without seeing the stuff

Guess what?

ALL of the games were pirate copies. >:(

I figured that perhaps some would be scratched, others would have no cases, or broken cases, some would not have instructions etc..

I did not ask if they were pirated, because it is against eBay's rules to sell pirated software.

After a couple of e-mails, which prompted him to telephone me, I got a refund.
