Some people are ever hopeful!!

Apparently his maths skils are not too good either - "not much over £2 per game" is pushing it somewhat. It's almost £2.50 per game (including postage) ... this wouldn't usually be a big deal, but when it's 160 games, and they're nearly all not even worth £2 then it becomes rather a big deal!!

There's absolutely no highly desirable games in there, and only a smattering of moderately desirable games. The rest can politely be described as 'throwaway games'. And he wonders why he's been having trouble with non-paying bidders ...

He do have Bubble Bobble and the Sonic games tho. £2.50 for each games doesnt seem that harsh to me, but the question is if someone would use this much money at once.

Uhh yeah, thats a pretty nice starter collection, I mean you are covered on all the basics... I dunno I am not really that big of a Saturn guy, but I remember Sonic R, Bug!, and Die Hard Arcade being pretty fun!

I am not denying there are a smattering of ok, even decent games in there. But they are still fairly low buys on their own, probly £5 - £10 each. Which is by no means enough to make up for the amount that you are overpaying for the rest.

Average value of a crappy sports game / Virtua Fighter - let's say £1.50 to be kind.

You are overpaying £1 a time on approx 150 of those. That's £150 overpaid. And a max of about £50 saved on those decent titles. End result, you overpay by about £100 and get a huge stack of junk to boot.

Whereas you could just pick up those decent games one by one from ebay, not be lumbered with all the junk, not overpay, and not spend £400.

I still see no reason why any sane person would buy that lot at that price.

Yeah, it's too much at £400 including postage.
If he allowed local pick ups, I'd say £300 would probably be reasonable but he seems in no mood to haggle.

Is sonic R worth less in the UK than in the States? I remember selling a US Sonic R for around $40 once upon a time...

A PAL Sonic R is worth about £5-£10. Nothing special, but it's one of the better ones in that bundle.

If you'd seen the other thread that got locked, you'd see that almost all the decent/valuable gamers (PDS, HotD, Enemy Zero) have been added in the last day or two. When the auction was first listed it was 160-odd crap filler titles

Yes I also watched it earlier and there was no sign of a PDS or HotD back then.
