Forbes has just announced that Final Fantasy XI is coming to Xbox.
Securing Final Fantasy XI for the Xbox will be seen as a key victory for Microsoft's campaign to overtake rival Sony as the king of the hill in the video game console business. If nothing else, it should make the Xbox more attractive to potential buyers. That's because people buy the hardware based on the available games.
The Forbes article also confirms that some of the top-selling current Xbox games will work on the Xbox 360.
Hopefully it won't be pay to play. If it's not I am there as I've been wanting to try this game out, but the $14 a month kept me away, and the fact that it won't run on the computer I have now.
