Help on Meseta (Not found in FAQ either)

Uh this is probably a really stupid question but what is the point of the Meseta things. Can you actually do anything with em or are they just there for fun? Also I tried bein a janitor but I need a DK Hammer in my inventory....I have a inventory? How do I get stuff in it? lol help me :O

There's a link to shops at the top beside where you check for PMs. You can buy items there. Also, there is the lottery where you can spend meseta.

You can use your meseta to buy virtual stuff here at DP :)

Click on "shop" at the top. This will take to where you can purchase some items with your Meseta.

At the bottom of that list is the Town Hall, where you can buy the rights to display a signature, an avatar and change the titles you have (what is below your name on the left).

Elsewhere, you can buy items to add to your virtual inventory.

To earn extra meseta per week, you can take a job. You can up to three at a time. Most require some sort of condition beforehand. In the Janitor case as you mentioned, you will need to have purchased a hammer from the Donkey Kong shop.

If you try to sign up for a job and cannot, it will tell you what you need to be able to get it. You can only see jobs that are available to take and have at least one spare vacancy going.

Anyhow, hope that helps. It's nothing serious, just a bit of fun here. Every post you make earns meseta btw...

Check above you next to "Log out". The first shop to check would be city hall at the bottom then the others have the little items in them. It's easy. 8-)

You can buy avatars, signatures, special color effects, or items. (This IS found in the FAQ).

"You can view your inventory by clicking the "items" link from any of your posts, or from the bottom of screen in the shop area, or from your user profile. NOTE: you must be using the subRed theme (selectable from your profile) to use this feature." (Cut/Pasted from the FAQ).

Obviously, you get things in your inventory from buying them from the Shop (link at the top of every page of the forums).

I wish you could see different job openings when you have 3 jobs :( I guess I will stick with the three I have for now.

When will we be able to use it on other colors (besides the awful, eye-killing red)?

I hate having to switch colors to do anything with it :(

Joe has said it before: time is a precious commodity that he and the other site admins involved in those changes, have very little of. The E3 exhibition must have been a lot of planning, red tape, etc. to go through, and there's still CGE...

Because of the scale of CGE, and because 3 months will come in fast, no matter how well organized Joe, John and the others are, I doubt the update for the other colors will be made before September.

Of course, that's just my opinion. Joe is better placed than me to answer that...

I had no idea what it was until this thread! I'll have to check it out some more, all I did was buy a few Zelda things 8-)

I think the whole meseta thing is kinda cool. Buying virtua items , avatars and what not make everything a little more interesting. I wish I could get more meseta to buy some more stuff.
