These things were very expencive when they got out. My dad bought one in Tokyo like 25 years ago and it was about $350 and that was cheap.
$350 was alot of money 25 years ago.

Every time I see these 70's auctions it reminds me of the multi headed thing my dad bought us at the surplus store..
It was an aluminum encased suitcase 'brain' with 4 or 6 big centronics type connectors . Iinto which plugged these HEAVY 'heads' with keypads on them. i remember doing homework on this thing but I dont remember alot of scientific buttons, just more regular ones..and oh yea each head could run at the same time as the other and used those old tubes for a display, the ones with 10 filaments stacked together in the tube..One for each number.. Wish I still had that thing..
