'Made in Mexico' SNES Carts....

hi all,
i picked up a PAL copy of Ms Pacman for my SNES the other day (yay! -- it was cheap) and noticed it had two stickers on the back of the cart, the top stating that the cart was 'assembled in Mexico'.

sure -- not that exciting i suppose, but isn't it odd to find PAL carts made in mexico? does mexico use the PAL system? were these limited production runs?

any info on these suckers would be appreciated -- it's just i've never seen them before here down in Australia...

they are just assembled in Mexico because it's cheap to assemble stuff over there, has nothing to do with the region it gets released in, just like a lot of PAL stuff is assembled in Taiwan or whereever
