Sega Genesis Madden Championship Edition *Rental Only

I picked up one of these recently (cratridge only) Sega Genesis Madden Championship Edition *Rental Only , anyone know the history behind it. I thought it was a blockbuster rental only.

I can post a picture of it when I get home tonight if anyone is interested.

Yeah, Blockbuster rental only. I'd like to know more details about the mail order offer though. I see this becoming one of the most valuable Genesis carts down the line. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking because I have a complete copy. LOL

Could their be a little more to the story? Why was this game released, how many copies, was it carried by blockbuster only... I am curious as to why the Madden series was taken in that direction with this game. Seems like an OK question to ask.

dsullo, If yo want to be able to post condescending crap, you better pad that post count a little more.

This is exactly the reason that my friends don't post on this site. There are always 100 condescending eyes, just HOPING that you will ask a question that is contained, even be in remotely, within the virtual walls of this little community, so they can pounce on you. By standing tall, puffing out their chest and letting you know that all of that silly information you were looking for is most definately available through the search function, or the rarity guide etc. Heaven forbid we ENCOURAGE human interaction.

It's great we have those information bandwidth police, isn't it? I wonder if they are paid by the site? Do they get night sticks and guns? :roll:
