Thanks to my good friend Ed for giving me the heads up on these to pass along:

Video footage of Next-Gen Sonic, Virtua Fighter, House of the Dead, Afterburner, and an unnamed mech game. Fairly bad quality videos, but what can you expect from some secret closed door meeting. I'm on 56k right now, so I haven't watched them myself.

By the way, I'm told that none of these videos are pre-rendered, and they're all running off a 360 Dev Kit (Mac G5).

Enjoy!

If what that lady said at the end of the Sonic presentation is true about that cutscene being rendered in realtime by the hardware the game was running upon, I am in shock. This upcoming generation might be worthwhile afterall. Much better than this lackluster set, that's for certain. Whatever the reason, this generation's games just haven't been that exciting for me.

That video was so cool, it was worth watching twice. Let's hope they make a real Sonic game inspired by it.

I would love to see a direct feed of this Sonic trailer. All of these must be forthcoming games and not just tech demos. If these are all running on 360 test kits does that mean Sega support for it?!? I hope so, its making the 360 sound even more appealing

That Sonic footage looks nice, but quite frankly, if they haven't fixed what's been broken with Sonic for the past two generations, I don't care if it has prettier graphics.

From what I could see it looks slightly impressive.

I would definitely buy this on the 360.

Hmm, it seems like (just my speculation) you can finally use supersonic in the normal stages (I missed crushing everything in sonic 2 and sonic 3/knuckles).

well the sonic video looks impressive, but I just hope if a next gen sonic game does come through that they stick to its old school roots, I would love another game like sonic adventure, but please...no sonic adventure 2 crap, I really hated those dr robotnick, amy, knuckles, etc levels, they were just bad :(
