MUST OWN TITLE FOR Japanese PS1 - THE WORST GAME EVER MADE!!

What do you think is the worst *playable* Japanese game for the PlayStation? I think the game that takes TOP HONORS is.....(drum roll)....

The Masters Fighter

It is so bad, that it's a MUST OWN for any collector. This is a fighting game along the lines of Streetfighter or many Neo Geo games. But the animation is plain horrible. I can't believe this game was released. There's like 3 frames of animation for each character when pulling off moves.

The mere notion that there could be a PS1 game worse than Hakai Oh - King of Crusher is god damned scary. Have you played that game before?

I LOVE King Of Crusher! In fact, when I had a website years ago and King Of Crusher was released, I did a preview of it. A loyal reader actually bought the game after reading the review and thanked me for turning him on to it. I think that preview is still cached on google or yahoo. I remember chasing after my wife wanting to beat her up in the house and she went to grab the baby out of the crib. (This is part of the game)

I always thought "Cosmic Race" was supposed to be the worst PS game ever...

Cosmic Race was one of the very early Japanese releases and I've given it some slack. But Masters Fighter...there's no excuse. It could have and should have been a good game but something went terribly wrong. I've played Yaorze games better than this.

Yeah, it's one of those "so bad it's awesome" games. I love knocking trees over and seeing them just tip over like flat cardboard stand-ups. Ha ha. And that growl. Oh god that's great.

Though it's also an early release, I claim the worst game as my oft-referred EXECTOR. I bought it after reading the review on GameFAQs...

And in case your wondering, I think that might be the step controller for Punch De Diet or some other weird game.

Sigh...this thread bump got me interested in King of Crusher again. I've seen a picture (on the official playstation site) of the cover, but has anybody a review or screenshots (hopefully both)?
