I've been intrigued by these games for some time... does anyone have any information on them in regards to a complete list? I'd like to know which ones made it to America, as well as the Japanese titles and which ones are remakes. Thanks!

The American releases are easy: Shin Megami Tensei 3: Maniacs (PS2), Persona, Persona 2 (PS), and Demikids for the GBA (two versions.) Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner for the PS2 is sort of a MegaTen game as well - but one of the very best.
The Japanese releases... get more complicated. There are over 40 games in the series, and a lot of "side games" like Digital Devil Saga that aren't technically part of the series but share LOTS of similarities. Checking GameFAQs would be a good way to start looking.

Would Revelations: Demon Slayer (GBC) also count as part of the extended series? Its Japanese title was Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible. Maken X (DC) might also be considered related (same dev team, similar themes and art style).

Eh? That's an SMT game? Didn't realize that.... I know they are both published in the US by ATLUS but I thought that was their only connection...

That would be news to me, it doesn't have the same artstyle and they've been using that style for a few generations now.
Please feel free to prove me wrong though, never enough SMT games.
