I don't. I stick to my Saturn and Dreamcast and am very happy thank you very much. :)
Just curious how many here don't play any current gen games, and how many do.
The last current gen game I really played was The Suffering but I quit halfway thru because it wasn't any fun after that. The last current gen game I beat and enjoyed was Castlevania LoI. After that, my interest just died. I still haven't really played I-Ninja, Kya, Ty the Tiger, Maximo, Vexx and Mummy SPhinx games I bought in late 2004 lol.

I keep buying new games as they come out but I keep finding myself playing mostly "retro" collections like Final Fantasy I & II, Atari Anthology, etc. The last "new" game I completed was Resident Evil 4 and before that I can't really remember. :/

On the PC i do(Guildwars most recently) on the Console not really. I play the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection on the X-Box a ton, but aside from that i haven't really played "new" X-Box game since last September.

I play almost nothing but current gen games right now, though I do have far more "retro" games than current gen ones. But I've beaten most of my older games and that's why they don't get that much play. All my current gen stuff is fairly new for me so I'm spending a lot of time working through it all.

Since I bought my Dreamcast a month ago, yes.

well I get the most enjoyment and playtime out of current console games, since I grew up with the 16bit era I still do play my snes and genesis sometimes, but I am more of a next gen player, and retro collector.

I'm normally all over my retro games, usually passing over my next gen stuff. However since I got Phantom Dust, I've been frantically trying to beat it.
If you have an xbox, get phantom dust.

I have a GC, which satisfys me for my current gen. games. It is sitting next to my SNES which is the better system but gets less play time for some reason.

I do but i haven't played one for like 3 months. It has been all PSone baby. I do need to get around to finishing Fatal Frame and Front Mission 4 though.
I have more on and off peroids. Sometimes I'll play nothing but current games, but far more often I'll have peroids of playing nothing but retro games, usually Super Nintendo or MegaDrive peroids...

I'm surprised you haven't gotten Katamari Damacy.
And consider Resident Evil 4, it's really great, even if you don't like Resident Evil games. (I don't!)

ZERO NULL NADA
Only retro- maximum Saturn.
I have been stickied in the power-up technique of Shining Force (trying to get to L-20 at the highest stats posible) and Trying to Finish Shining Force 2 Secret Final Battle with L-30 Promoted Characters (OK Karna goes to L-50 right now because of the Boost L2 Spell that gives her 49 Exp.Points each time). Finally did last night so I moved on to finish Shining Force 3 US BUT playing it like it was the japanese version so I can see if the save file works with a japanese SF3 S2 in order to finally finish SF3 all discs through and see the real ending...
Does that answer the question, by the way, or did I knock you incouncius a few minutes ago? :D

The newest-gen (?) system I have is the GBA, and that's not current-gen anymore, is it? I like it though. The newest system I have before that is the, erm, Jaguar. 8-)

I equally love all of my systems.
I can shift from Guardian Legend to Lego Star Wars effortlessly.
There are too many outstanding current gen games to exclusively play 10+ year old titles. You're just cheating yourself by doing so ;)

You could throw me in the "hardly ever plays" current generation games category, since I only own a few titles each for the ps2, gc, and xbox. But if you include the dreamcast as "current generation" then I would have to be excluded.

I only play very few current-gen titles. I only have one current-gen system (PS2), and I only have two games for that. However, this is more of a "lack of money" issue rather than a "lack of taste" issue. :P
Some of these games look really cool, though. Burnout 3, Gitaroo Man, Ico, Katamari Damacy, OutRun 2 and more are all on my "to-play" list. I'm even thinking about picking up Sega Classics Collection one of these days.

I luv my Gamecube but theres been many loooong periods when I have played nothing but Dreamcast especially when I was "trying to get into PS2" I never liked the system and never will :D
If it werent for the beautiful Resident Evil games , Metroid primes and upcoming Zelda on GC AND if I had more of all of the original Dreamcast games I lost sooo long ago :( I would most likely play nothing BUT Dreamcast and I look at the DC to be in a Generation all its own really.

Well, they're still crankin' out games for it, so I'd call it current, I guess. It's just one of Nintendo's many "pillars". LOL
I've been pretty much just playing Steel Battalion: LOC (Xbox) and The Pinball of the Dead (GBA) for the last few weeks. Oh, and Quake (Saturn) and Duke Nukem 3-D (Saturn).

WOW, I mean as much as I LOVE my older stuff, I HAVE TO HAVE my gamecube fix just about everyday!
One question to you is why don't you play any current gen stuff? Just don't want to pay the money, don't like the games, what?

I still haven't bought any of the current gen consoles (mostly stick to my NES and Dreamcast anymore). Am tempted to buy a Gamecube since the price has dropped (and those $20 games are quite tempting).

I really only play my NES and SNES. On ocassion i will play my GC, but i find going back and mastering FFII all over again much more pleasing then getting all the little sunshines in Super Mario Sunshine.
next gen ain't my cup of tea... although i do enjoy most of the new basketball games... but that's mainly because i am obsessed with watching and playing basketball.

Most recent are PC games... console wise my latest would be the SNES, nothing after that.

Excepting the Hot Shots Golf series, I'm strictly a retrogamer. If my nephew ever gets a GC, I might give Animal Crossing a try. Also, I'll definitely pick up SCRABBLE Blast for the GBA, 'cause I love anything related to that game.
