Wow man, great looking room! I hope you have some bean bags or pillows lying around for playing on. I think I am as impressed by the shelves as I am by the games!

Very nice.

That's one helluva Megadrive collection.

I like the UK PSX boxes so much more than our normal jewel cases...

Nice collection you have there. I felt really guilty of selling my NES and all of my games though. But there are over $5,000 or even $10,000 worth of games you got there. Good job!

Great stuff. I have to keep an eye out for those Simpsons hand held games. I hope they aren't Euro only games. Time to do some research I guess.

Hey at least you have Sonic 3 - it seems to go for silly money in New Zealand! :eek 2: x_x

It's quite cool. Get rid of those ornaments on top of the PS2, though!

lol That picture was taken a few weeks ago. I've shuffled stuff around since then.

I've also got Sonic 3D for £8. I got Sonic 3 for £7 on ebay (including postage) which I thought was a bit of a bargain. I just need Sonic Spinball and I'll have all the Sonic games, I think.

I was in England last month and picked up Sonic 3d and Sonic Spinball at GameStation. Man I wish we had stores that sold retro games in New Zealand - it's fair to say I loaded up my bags. Went to a car boot sale too - got some great scores, again you don;t get anything like that here.

Anyway what I wanted to say was there were about three Sonic Spinballs in the Swindow store maybe they still have one and can send it to your nearest store?

I saw two in my local Gamestation but I'm trying to save some money at the moment :/

I noticed Cauterize has got a Sonic game after Sonic 3d, what is that?

CHeers Guys for the good words! Im honestly flattered and im not jsut saying that!
its been ever so hard to get my colelction to what it is over the years, as i had to postpone it for a whole year once due to illness which really sucked big time, and to see such awesoem comments makes me feel great!

That would be sonic compilation

Heh watch yourself! :P ill be there with my fists raised! :P

Its funny you should say that, i have spent no where near that on the collection over the years! The majoprity of my finds are dirt cheap, i refuse to pay full price!
Megadrive games at about 50p-£1
Same for SMS
hell i even got Silent Hill 2 Special Edition for 75p!
Seriously, the reason i haul in a lot is due to the me spending next to nothing and selling off the spares!

Great stuff. I have to keep an eye out for those Simpsons hand held games. I hope they aren't Euro only games. Time to do some research I guess.

If i see anymore, ill pick them up for you!

Quantity, Quality, and Organization.

I beg to differ. 50 pence a pop doesn't buy you quality. But yeah, quantity is impressive and it looks superb! The sonic blue colour walls helps, too :)

I've been scanning throught the pictures for a while now and I'd like to know what these are:

The first one is a SNES copier. The second looks like a white-board to me ;)

Very nice looking selection, Adam! :)

You really should sort the MD/SMS games by publisher/part number instead of alphbetically though - it'll match up all the ones with similar spines, leaving them looking nice & ordered instead of random stripes of colour. Then again, maybe that's just my anally-retentive side coming through ;)

Awesome pics!
Nice FAT collection, something for everyone. :D

Hey Cauterize, think you could send me (or post one here) a close up pic of that boxed tabletop Mario pinball? Would love to see more detail. I kind of collect Mario pinall, from the little to the big. Thanks!

Always update those pics when you get new cool stuff, we all want to see the pics!

Once again, in a word, AWESOME

Wow! That is amazing
Nice room, your shelves and units are really nice. So well organised and tidy as well. I see a NeoGeo AES box but not the actual console and no games but NeoGeo CD games? The Dizzy games brought a smile to my face. Looked at all your gig tickets, i used to do that. Lots of them are signed and i see a few VIP passes? Good to see Pitchshifter there. Surprised at the Virtual Boy, they weren't ever released in England were they? Were did you pick that up?
You've got a serious amount of games. That Sega wall is awesome. I agree that you should try sorting out your MegaDrive games by colour because the Master System ones look awesome. Oh yeah, saw some Atari games but no actual Atari?
Overall its such an awesome collection in an excellent room. Oh, and you have a nice looking bass

Ah, wish I saw these sooner. Stupid work

Anyways, looking awesome Caut, as usual. I expected no less than kick ass, and what did I get? Kick ass + awesomeness.

I won't lie tho, sometimes I'd be scared to sleep. What if some games fell or something ;) :P

I like the setup! :) Looks well organized and "clean", like its easy to find the game you are looking for if you want to play.
