What RPG are you playing now?

Anyone actively playing any RPGs at the moment?

I got bored so I decided to resume my small levelling operation in Lunar 2- in epiluoge right now, fighting Chico Mongruls to level up (perhaps to 59-60) before taking on the last bosses.

I may just go back to FF 9 soon too.

I'm actively playing FF V, which I had put down months ago. As I mentioned in another thread, I can easily play it while using my treadmill, and I feel great killing two birds with one stone (enjoying my hobby and yet at the same time getting a good 30 - 60 minutes of exercise each night).

It's amazing how quickly the time goes by, and how effortless it can be just leveling up.

I been playing Dragon Warrior 3 off and on for a little while now...but that's about as close to an rpg as I've played in a long time, which is funny, considering how much I played them before.

FFV. I finally made it to the last save point, now I'm building up all my jobs, and I'm trying to get one of every item in the game, but it seems I can't get a couple of the things I missed... Oh well... Afterwards, I'll probably start Grandia 2 for DC, which I barely got and have yet to play.

The defination of RPG varies but if I used the broad version it'd have to be PSO or Metroid Prime/Fusion. If I use the narrow defination then I think Grandia 2 (DC) was the last true RPG I've played.

heh I haven't played an RPG in years but ironically right now I am ACTIVELY playing Phantasy Star 1 on the GBA even going to the point of playing it in bed using one of those light thingys when the wife passes out.. O_O

I'm playing Suikoden III, though in the wake of my newfound admiration for Terranigma, I fired up my old save for Illusion of Gaia.

Haven't played any of my new X-mas games, Haven't gotten metroid prime yet. The only other game I've played at all is Metroid fusion because I can travel with it.

I *was* playing Phantasy Star (the original on the SMS) until my wife decided it looked like fun. Now I've put it on the Game Gear for her so I can use my game room's tv and I'm playing Starflight on the Genesis.

Just beat Wild Arms III and looking for a new RPG right now. I'm thinking about replaying Morrowind (to get all the stuff I didn't get before I beat it), but I might also go out and get Suikoden III (loved the first two).

I just got Buck Rogers - Countdown to Doomsday for Genesis. It says it's a sci-fi RPG, and I've heard really good things about it, so I'm gonna check it out.

Suikoden 3 Baby!

I know there are a lot of die hard Suikoden fans that are very unhappy with this game since it is not exactly like S2 blah blah blah.
This game has way better graphics and has a unique and interesting approach to tell the story. S2 was one of my favorite RPG's but in the year 2003 this is what RPG's should look like if done right like S3.

You don't need to get any goo for the special ending...the only thing required for that is to finish all the cups at the coliseum and get all the dalmations. I know, I've done it! :D

In any case, I'm currently trying to get mystery goo in Kingdom hearts for two of the optional bosses (which I won't spoil here). I have a feeling I'm going to be needing that ultimate weapon if I'm ever going to ace the platinum match.

Sicne we're talking about levelling up, I'll mention that right now I'm levelling up in Devil May Cry also (got it for XMas). Normal mode's hard enough, so I want to be all levelled up and ready for hard mode.

just finished shadow madness (yeah, i know, but i wanted to see if it had a good ending), jumped back into a stack of memory cards i have and am trying to finish up:
vandal hearts 2
tales of phantasia
front mission 2
thousand arms
and i have a couple more import ps and saturn games i haven't touched in ages...

and...i have 2 different morrowind characters on my xbox hard drive- i think i screwed up in the game i went the farthest in, lol. the guild i was part of asked me to do something about a bunch of not so nice people, so i killed them all (well, they were all sorta mean and surly, lol) after trying to bribe the lot of them. a few weeks later, i'm thinking that may have not been such a good idea, heh... x_x

I have ver 1.0 in the mail and should be playing in a week or 2

The "Only" other RPG I own is Swords & Serpents for the NES
and I'm not Activly playing that due to the Password save system (YUK!)

Lord of the Dungeon on ColecoVision. If the game doesn't glitch up (power supply connections, if bad, can foul up the RAM), then I will one day defeat the 8 Dark Lord of Level 8!

Dragon Warrior for the NES. Not as good as the above, but not too bad.
