My son just found the Donkey Kong Jr Math, and he is playing it. How do you exit the game so that you can return to the normal portion of Animal Crossings, so he can save and not lose this game.
Thanks for your help.

Just go to your home and open up the door, it will ask you if you want to save in the options. Also remember you can play your games in your house as all you do if drop the nes game from your inventory, put it somewhere in your house and then go up to it and it will ask you if you want to exit the game to play the particular nintendo game.
Enjoy!. That game took months of my life from me X_x LOL

Or do you mean exit from DKMath? God, it's been so long since I played AC... um I think you have to press Z, or L,R and Z together... It should have said what to do when he loaded DKMath...
EDIT: yeah, it is L,R and Z together.

I think the question being asked here is how do you back out of the NES games to return to the Animal Crossing portion of the game. If so, I believe you hold down L+R+Z and it will save your NES game scores. I haven't yet uncovered DK Math, so I'm not sure if it will truly save the progress within that game. Hope that helps.

I wasn't totally clear. He is playing the Donkey Kong Jr Math, we cannot figure out how to exit the Donkey Kong Jr Math game. He did not save his progress before he started playing Donkey Kong. So we want out of that game to do a regular save.
Thanks

Thanks everyone, it was L+R+Z to exit Donkey Kong Jr Math. He then saved the AC game file as normal.
It probably does tell you how to exit when you start, but he is 7 and does not always read what people say on the screen. Which I keep telling him he should do. Also I was not in the room when he started it, so I didn't know either.
I know I could count on my good gaming friends here though.
Game on !

Can't say I blame him. I'm almost 30 and I don't read the stuff on screen either. LOL

The thing that sucks is that they'll probably never give away the codes that give you Zelda and / or SMB in Animal Crossing.

LOL @ Captain Wrong.... that was good. I might as well stop telling him what to do when playing games then I guess lol.
I haven't played the game in a long time, I think the only other NES game we have is Tennis. We never got an e-reader to get more games either.

Wow, I remember that game. I almost got into a trance-like state playing it! It would be dark when I finished playing... after school lol
In fact, I just booted the game up... everyone hates me and there's spider webs everywhere. Looks like I have some work to do. Damn you for reminding me how much fun this is!!

With a Character and Town name, I can send you a couple more NES games. If you don't mind typing in the ridiculously long passwords, that is. :)
I've got access to a bunch, but I'd have to fire it up and see which ones. Let me know if there are any you're looking for and if I've got them, I'll head down to the Bitburgh post office and have the storks send them your way.

I have a weird feeling the DS version is going to be involved somehow. :/
Did they ever reveal how to get Punch-Out?

Nope. Short of the Lao Tzu code or a cheat device, Punch-Out!!! is still MIA.
