Just picked up 43 Atari 2600 games for $20.

All N64 games were only $1 each. When I saw that I grabbed the whole box!! Paper Mario, Mario party 2 & 3, zelda, super smash bros. (x2) were a few of the better ones.
I also got the N64 system W/ 3 controllers,2 games, rumble and mem exp for $10 not pictured. One controller was the clear green another was solid green.

Sweet... I can't express how much i want an original playstation. Every time i see one i'd like to buy it, But then it always turns out that i'd be wasting my money, Since they are so darn common and i can use my PSOne. LOL

You can seriously score an original Playstation for like $5 on ebay if you're determined about it. They have zero value right now because of the backward compatibility of the PS2.

After seeing SW: Ep. III today, I swung by a Gamestop on the way home where I:

1. Finally scored a used copy of Guilty Gear X2 for $20. Admittedly nothing rare, but for some reason I've been having difficulty finding used ones in good condition. @_@

2. Punky Skunk (NM, btw) for $4.99. Why the hell is this game so rare? Low print run or something? :hmm:

It's funny, it's been so long since I added any games to my collection page that I felt like it must be out-of-date, but I really just haven't gotten any new games in that long. I've been too broke to buy any, but this time of year I always seem to come across plenty of good deals online on albums and other tri-Ace products that I just can't pass up. Must be some sort of bizarre game music Spring cleaning. o_O

It was gold and I recalled seeing something about the gold version being rare. It was marked $4.99 so I thought what the heck. Turns out it was only $2.99 so it ended up being less than $3 total after discount.

It works on my SP (although you have to shoot upside down)...I found one thread that said it had something to do with a Zelda game, but not much beyond that. Anyone know to what extent this thing is actually rare?

Easy fix... (copied from one of my posts in another thread)

If you affix a piece of SMOOTH foam (like what motherboards come wrapped in sometimes) beneath the path of the read laser carriage it lifts the whole assembly up enough to read the disc properly, and since the foam is nice and slick the carriage doesn't get tripped up in it...

I came into work yesterday and found a VERY nice Channel F complete in box with all the paper work and barely used (still in original plastic n' everything.) I was actually super confused, and racked my brain trying to remember if I had accidently bid on one from eBay or something.

Turns out a buddy of mine who is also into flea markets and thrift stores (tho he's not into gaming) stopped by a rummage sale at a Buddhist temple this weekend. When he saw the Channel F he picked up it for me since he knows I'm into this sort of stuff.

A few weeks ago I snagged a complete X-Com: Ufo Defense at a pawn shop. Well, today I went buy a different one and saw yet another -- but when I opened the case it had some NHL game in it. Bummer.

I kept looking at pawn shops and found... a disc only X-Com. Snapped it up for $10, went back to the other pawn shop and got the case with the NHL game for $3, so now i have a second complete X-Com for about $15. I must have an affinity for it!

Also snagged some assorted PSX stuff like G Darius and The Unholy War.

The Marshall, MI Goodwill had some stuff...couple of the Sonic LCD toys (uh, one Shadow...that's his name, right? - the other SOnic) for $.49 (bah, not in good enough shape), and a neat looking Crash Bandicoot LCD game with some window on the back you opened...didn't get that either, though.

I did pick up loose CDs for Quake (been a long time since I've had the disc, though I've got the box and all the packaging) and Hexen II (first time I've owned it)! Yay, that Goodwill is letting me fill some gaps in the PC gaming experience :D

Today I headed over to gamezone and traded in a ton of ps2/psx games and about 100 genesis boxes. Man am I glad to have gotten that box outta here, it's no longer blocking my damn speaker under my table, lol. Anyhow:

I've found a red Gameboy Color and the game Wario Land 3 in the Easy Cash store near my home. I've paid 25 Fr. for the Gameboy and 20 Fr. for the game. The game might be a bit overpriced but the Gameboy itself was a good find so it doesn't really matter. All the games are the same price so I will rather look out on Ebay to get more games. I'm especially after the two Zelda games. Anyway, good find that I'm happy about!

I just found out yesterday that there was a rts warhammer 40,000 game for PC.

I got it for 29.99 at Best Buy.

Good strategy game I must say :) Played throught it when it got out.

I Absolutly loved the intro, but didnt really get into the game. Seriously, one of the best intro vids ive ever seen X_x


Anyway, i bought:
PS2: XII Stag- $9.95 Au from Target. All this time I thought it was some crappy futuristic motorbike racing game (thats what it looks like on the cover) and it turns out to be a 2d vertical shmup! I felt like an ass for passing it up so many times and not even looking at the back of the case.

And on PC: Deadly Tide- $28.95 Au (complete). One of my favourite games of all time and ive been holding out for a cheaper copy for a while but finally gave in.

Tuesday I bought the Jade Empire and Star Ocean 3 strategy guide from Gamestop for $1.99.

Wednesday I found a complete with box, SMB3, and all the docs NES Challenge Set for $8.99, The local Goodwill got a new manager so no more ridiculous prices (ie. $4.99 VHS, SMB/Duck Hunts and old DOS games) :roll:
